How to make TypeA Hashioki

TypeA Hashioki is Yosegi -zaiku Style.
※Yosegi-zaiku is a type of traditional Japanese parquetry.

1.Cutting

First, choose three woods and cut them using a Laser cutting machine.

I used Chestnut(t5.0mm), White oak(t5.0mm), and Zelkova(t5.0mm).

2.Glueing

Glue three parts.
We always use "TitebondⅢ".

3.Wiping

Wipe off dirt of parts.

4.Polishing

Polish the surface of Hashioki with Sandpaper(#240).

5.Oil Finishing

Finally, Finishing Hashioki with Oil.

Urushi(Japanese wood Lacquer) is a natural paint material which is gathered and refined from Urushi trees, which can mainly be found in Asia.
