Dewas Sharma
Dewas Sharma is a 9 years old boy,studying in grade 3 at Tendruk Central School.He is diagnosed with Right Hemiperesis Cerebral Plasy. He has difficulty walking on undulating surface. He faces difficulty writing with right hand and wearingcloths with buttons.
Kinley Choki
Kinley Choki is a 18-year-old girl who is medically diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and is also Hard of Hearing. Kinley communicates through sign language and studies at the Wangsel Institute for the Deaf. She has good physical mobility but poor fine motor skills.

Use of speech to text conversion tool is needed for him to cope up with his writing difficulties. He also need help in holding his phones tight as there has been many many incident where he broke many phones and tabs.

She has a very weak hand coordination and has difficulties in writing as well as holding things. She also need help in holding her mobile phones and also need help in writing.

Assistive devices for holding mobile devices.
Idea-1
To develop a assistive device that could help the need knower to hold phone or tab. The device is attached to the user's palm using velcro straps and will incorporate a gimbal system for better balance and experience.
Idea-2
To develop a assistive device that could help the need knower to hold a phone or tab. This device is attached to the user's palm using velcro straps but will not involve a gimble system, instead be a fixed 3D printed model.
1st Prototyping
We have completed designing our second assistive device which is without a gimbal system. And we also did the testing on the need knowers and it's very effective and helpful for them. Currently we are half way through designing our first idea of SteadyGrip with a gimbal system.
2nd Prototyping
One of our need knower gave feedback that keeping the suction cup holder in horizontal is not that effective and comfortable for her. So we changed the position of the strap and designed the suction cup holder in a vertical way also.

Future Prospect(s)
The future of this assistive device is promising, with several potential advancements and applications. Further development could integrate smart features, such as adaptive controls, voice commands, or AI-assisted stabilization, to enhance usability for individual with severe motor impairments.
Result(s)
The team successfully developed Idea-2, which received high satisfaction ratings from both need knowers after the trials. The device allowed them to comfortably use their phone or tablet without any discomfort. Additionally, there was strong demand for this device from the other need knowers.
