She depends on her parents or friends to get around outside and utilises a wheelchair in class. Her minor fine motor issues have a slight impact on writing and handling objects, but she has severe gross motor difficulty. She also needs her mother's help using the loo.

Because of her diplegic cerebral palsy, Nangsey Lhamo has trouble with fine motor abilities, which makes writing and digital chores difficult. Creating assistive technology that increases her independence in these areas is our aim.

Nangsey is a passionate and driven person who doesn't let cerebral palsy define who she is. She manages her everyday life with fortitude in spite of the difficulties that impact her coordination and mobility.

She exhibits her flexibility and desire to learn by attending normal classes with little to no modification. She thinks that the event's assisting technologies will enable her to pursue one of her greatest goals: writing on her own.

Her determination and positivity are the epitome of perseverance, demonstrating that she can accomplish anything she sets her mind to given the correct encouragement. Both Nangsey's mother and SEN teacher sincerely hope that she would become more independent in her day-to-day activities.

They see a time when she will be able to write her examinations without the assistance of a scribe, use phones and tablets with ease, and type comfortably on her computer. Writing in particular is a major area of concentration, both to improve her academic experience and to build her strength.

Our desire for Nangsey to be strong, brave, independent, and morally upright, like the renowned female Valkyrie warriors, is the reason we called ourselves Team Valkyrie. Our goal is to support her in overcoming obstacles and realising her greatest potential.

A thorough conversation about what to make, with an emphasis on Nangsey's needs and how we could best promote her freedom, kicked off our initial prototyping phase. We discussed potential solutions, drew preliminary designs, and evaluated the viability of various assistive technology.

We 3D-printed a basic design and tested it in actual environment. This practical experiment yielded good information that pointed out areas that needed work. This initial phase established a solid basis for a more efficient and user-friendly assistive tool, even though improvements were required.

Based on preliminary testing, we improved the design in the second phase, concentrating on usability and functionality to better suit Nangsey's requirements. We are now closer to a workable, efficient solution thanks to the important insights this phase offered.

We concentrated on completing the tool's components, making sure that each one improved usability. These modifications assisted in transforming the gadget into a useful instrument that promotes Nangsey's autonomy.
