Process

I put the pieces in order, and in pattern to make the star-shaped yosegi.

Materials

I used the yew tree, the cypress, walnut, and the teak wood for this project.

Using the Epilog Laser cutter, HELIX, i created 6 isosceles triangles and isosceles trapezoids with each material.

finish

Finally, i coated the entire yosegi coaster with the natural oil from nuts such as peanuts and walnuts. This will give the wood a natural glow, as a final touch.
