    Summary
This is the digital data of our prosthetic arm. This is primarily targeted towards
people with hearing disabilities; people who have can't hear or has a hard time hearing.
The arm is modified with a sound sensor module and LED lights. Whenever the sensor
catches sound, the LED lights will light up with corresponding intensity. By providing a
visual aide for sound, deaf people will be granted increased awareness of their
surrounding environment. This increased awareness, we believe, is both convenient and
significant. Perhaps a deaf user of the arm was reading at a library and the fire alarm went
off. Or maybe he or she was crossing the streets and a driver of a car was honking the
horn. Deaf people, who will normally not be able to recognize these kind of warnings
will now be able to react to them. Therefore we think that this arm will not only be very
helpful in the user's daily lives, but can potentially save lives.
