Snow Rider gradually demands more from the player as the sled gains speed. At the beginning of a run, there is usually enough time to recognize hazards and adjust position. Later, the same type of obstacle can become much harder simply because the sled is moving faster. This creates natural difficulty progression without requiring complicated level systems. The longer the run lasts, the more valuable every movement becomes.
