We emulated a Kumikiri Wood Block puzzle using 3D Printers and Laser Cutters. Three pieces were designed in 3D CAD software and printed using a MakerBot 3d Printer, while the other three were cut out of wood using a laser cutter. While the 3D printed blocks were fairly straightforward, the wooden blocks were first divided into five segments of height 4mm each, cut and stuck together with glue.The added layer of glue increased the overall size of each block, which then had to be sanded down to size.
