At MozLdn we have this really great large open common room, with Wifi, kitchen facilities and AV. The common space is open to fellow Mozillians to come and work from, and I have extended this invitation to our local partners. We always have someone in the space, working from one of the booths and making new friends at the coffee machine, which the entire team enjoys.
In the last year the London team, in collaboration with WPR, has created an events program. In 2015 we hosted over 200 events with a small team of 10 people. In 2016 we want to increase this number and open the office even more to our community. This project will document this process and hopefully be used as a tool for other spaces.

          • First meet up of the Mozilla Clubs london lead by frank thomas Hockey and David ross.
Aim was to bring toegther interested peers who wanted to learn basic coding together in a group format with the end result as a Blog page in Github. Utilizing Mozilla Clubs tools and curriculum to learn.
            • 7ppl turned up for the first meeting. We had one mentor from Pijam and two new people, who found the link online. We were honest that the first meeting was about planning the next 5 so we started with Story of Self, introducing Mozilla, playing around with Thimble and mapping out the next 5 weeks
            • Hacking on the set up from the first meeting and expanding on the mark up theme, commonmark.org
          • MozFest volunteer heroes who gave up their weekend in Nov 2015 to help run MozFest will be celebrated at an appreciation party. There will be pizzas, a photo booth and we will have a 45 minute session dedicated to how they can contribute in other ways to Mozilla. Spike will lead this session
