  現在、世界中で海や川などにおける水中ゴミ問題が深刻化している。特に海洋ゴミといった海洋プラスチックにより、魚類、海鳥、アザラシなどの約700種もの生物へ影響を及ぼし、命を奪っている現状がある。上述した海洋ゴミの発生要因は様々であるが、その中の一つに「釣りによる水中ゴミ問題」が存在する。私は今回、この問題を一人の釣り人として現実的な範囲で軽減できないかと考え、行動に移すことを決意した。
